Hi, I'm Wendy Harmon, PhD, creator of the Vitality Life Map™.
I spent more than 20 years as a Fortune 500 director leading teams and managing high-pressure environments. Like a lot of high-achieving women, I kept everything moving while quietly neglecting the foundation underneath it.
In October 2017, I was boarding a flight home when my phone rang. My doctor told me it was Stage 2 metastatic breast cancer. I spent most of that flight cycling through every version of "Why me?" I could find. The fear was real. The anger was real. The self-pity was real.
Then, somewhere before landing, a quieter question surfaced: what now?
That question carried me through eight rounds of chemotherapy, 28 radiation treatments, and 14 surgeries over four years. It shifted me from someone reacting to a diagnosis into someone rebuilding with a plan. Eventually, it became the foundation for the work I do today.
