In October 2017, my life changed with one phone call. I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Over the next four years, I went through chemotherapy, radiation, and fourteen surgeries while continuing to work, lead, and raise my daughter.
Like so many women, I found myself trying to navigate a healthcare system that treated each part of me separately. My doctors focused on treating the cancer but no one was helping me answer the question I was asking every day.
How do I rebuild my whole life when my whole body has changed?
I didn't just need treatment, I needed a roadmap. I needed nutrition that could support healing while my body was under enormous stress and I needed simple strength routines that helped me recover after surgery without overwhelming my body. I also needed practical tools to rebuild my confidence when I no longer recognized myself.
Most of all, I needed a way to stop feeling like I was constantly managing separate pieces of my health and start understanding how they all worked together. That roadmap didn't exist so over the years that followed, I built it.
